Establishing forms and structural expressions from the unique characteristics of the brutalist architecture in Newcastle.

Local theme.

Leaning into the local theme at the Baltic, the design is based on the brutalist architecture around Newcastle. The buildings are translated into minimalist forms to act as planters. Each pot is laser etched with the building’s coordinates and name.
